We're Open All Year Round
One of the things that sets Diamond Kickboxing apart is our consistency. We train all year round — through every season, every half-term and every school holiday — so your child's progress never has to pause. The only time we close is for two weeks over the Christmas period, when we take a well-earned break with our families and return refreshed for the new year.
This means you can rely on us being there, week in and week out, with the same high standard of coaching. Regular attendance is one of the biggest factors in how quickly a student develops, and our year-round timetable is designed to make that as easy as possible for busy families.
Uniform Policy
A smart, consistent uniform helps students feel part of the team, keeps training safe, and shows respect for the art and for one another. Our uniform is simple and applies to every student:
- Every class: Academy T-shirt, trousers and belt.
- Grading days: The academy jacket is worn in addition to the above for all gradings.
- Full equipment: All required training equipment is part of the uniform and should be brought to every session.
If you're new to the academy or unsure what's needed for your child's stage, just speak to a coach before or after class and we'll be happy to guide you through it.
Parent Viewing Policy
We absolutely love that parents and families come along to watch — your support means the world to the students and to us. To help every class run smoothly and to give each student the best possible environment to learn, we ask all parents and visitors to follow a few simple guidelines.
Please Remain in the Seating Area
Once a class is in session, we kindly ask that parents remain in the seating area to watch rather than stepping onto or across the training area. The training floor is our classroom, and keeping it clear helps us keep every student safe, focused and free from distraction. If you ever need to speak with a coach, we're always happy to chat before or after the session.
Silence from the Sides
We kindly ask for quiet from the seating area while a class is in progress. We know how tempting it is to encourage from the sidelines — and your enthusiasm is genuinely appreciated — but during the session the coaches are the ones instructing the class.
Calling out instructions, corrections or encouragement from the sides — however well-meaning — can actually be detrimental to a child's training. Mixed messages from different voices can confuse students, break their concentration, and slow the very progress we're all working towards. Our coaches are highly experienced and qualified, and each correction they give is part of a carefully structured plan for that student's development.
By allowing the coaches to lead and the students to focus, you're giving your child the very best chance to improve — and that's something we all want to see.
